Yes, that is really the name. We always stopped by this multi level gift shop whenever we were in vacation. Founded in 1946 it has been a Myrtle Beach landmark forever. With 30,000 sq. ft. Of retail space their is something for everyone. From sharks teeth jewelry and seashells to toys and knick knacks the Gay Dolphin has it all.
One of the most visited places at Myrtle Beach. From mermaids to a shark tunnel, and the Discovery Center where you can get a hands on experience with sting rays and horse shoe crabs. It is a fun and educational way to teach the kids about the ocean and the animals that live there.
I could not write about Myrtle Beach and not include The Pavilion. Yes, it was another place that me and my family frequented during our beach vacations. Overcoming my fear of haunted houses, thanks to my brother. Riding the Rainbow with my grandmother. I will never forget the look on her face! From bumper cars to carousels you can always find something fun to ride at The Pavilion
