Toddler’s are a fickle bunch. They can love a food on Monday and by Tuesday, it’s disgusting. They can survive and thrive on a diet consisting of only chicken nuggets and PB&J. We, as parents get this INSANE idea of going ” healthy “. You know… organic, raw, sugar-free, gluten-free, free-range, grass fed, super foods… Ha!!! Good luck. My Toddler, Bronx, bless his heart. He’s a good eater. Hasn’t always been like that though. He went through a picky phase. His was ” I love broccoli ” ( Monday ). ” Ewwwe!!! broccoli ” ( Tuesday ). Now, he eats like a champ, cue the theme song from Rocky. Salmon, fruits, hummus… HUMMUS!
- Whole wheat tortillas
- Veggies ( we like roasted red peppers )
- Cheese ( soy for vegans )
- Lean meats
- Lay out a tortilla and spread on hummus
- Arrange your veggies, cheese and meat ( omit for vegans )
- Roll it up!
